Our celebrant, Alexandra, is a woman in her 40s who has found her true calling in officiating weddings.
French by birth, Alexandra can conduct your ceremony in English or switch between the two languages depending on your needs.
Although she is not a native English speaker, she speaks English fluently, while retaining her charming (and touching) French accent!
She is experienced in officiating bilingual ceremonies without resorting to literal translations, keeping the ceremony dynamic and clear for everyone.
French secular ceremony
A French secular ceremony might resemble a wedding scene from a typical American movie, but the key difference is that it is not led by a preacher. A secular ceremony is free from any religious connotation—unless you wish to include it, which can be especially meaningful if you come from different religious backgrounds.
Most importantly, a secular ceremony is the ideal way to express your commitment to one another through a celebration that truly reflects who you are.
A secular ceremony does not replace the legal marriage (which must be conducted either abroad or at the city hall in France). However, this personalized ceremony allows you to focus on the emotions that are at the heart of your union, giving it a special and meaningful dedication.
